Kayaking – Howick Full Day
A full-day sea kayaking journey along Northumberland’s dramatic coastline — ideal for adults (16+) who want time on the water, skills, scenery and the feeling of travelling rather than just paddling in circles.
Plan for most of the day — we pace the journey to conditions and the group.
It’s a bigger day physically and mentally — perfect if you want a genuine sea kayaking experience.
Private groups from £225. Private pricing starts at 2 people and scales for larger groups. Final price is shown when you choose your booking option.
Availability is shown in the booking calendar. Midweek outside school holidays is typically private groups.
Plus a clear safety briefing, skills coaching, and time for stops (including a brew stop when conditions allow).
Prefer your own guide? Choose a Private Group option when booking. Private pricing starts at 2 people and scales for larger groups.
What to expect
Meet, kit up & brief. We’ll get you into the right kit, fit buoyancy aids, then run a clear safety briefing and check the day’s plan based on wind, swell and tide.
Skills as we go. This isn’t “sit in a boat and hope” — we coach as you paddle: efficient strokes, turning, raft-ups, and how to move confidently in coastal water.
A proper journey. We explore the coastline around Howick, choosing the best route for the conditions. Expect rocky channels, beaches, wildlife moments and proper sea kayaking scenery.
Stops built in. We take breaks for views, photos and a brew stop when conditions allow (yes, the kettle photo is real — it’s a vibe).
Who it suits best. Adults and older teens (16+) who want a fuller adventure and time to settle into paddling. If you want a shorter option, try our half-day kayaking sessions.
Everything included. Kayak, paddle, wetsuit, buoyancy aid and guidance throughout — so you can focus on the journey.
This is the “we’ve actually been somewhere” kayaking day.
