Kayaking – Howick Full Day
A full-day sea kayaking journey along Northumberland’s dramatic coastline — ideal for adults and older teens who want time on the water, skills, scenery and the feeling of travelling rather than just paddling in circles.
A proper sea kayaking journey on the Northumberland coast
This is the kayaking day for people who want more than a short taster. You have time to settle in, build skills as you go, explore more coastline and enjoy the feeling of actually travelling rather than just paddling around close to the start point.
It is ideal for adults and older teens who want a fuller adventure pace, more time on the water and a guided coastal journey shaped around the conditions on the day.
Not sure if this is the right trip?
This is the “we’ve actually been somewhere” kayaking day — a coached coastal journey with time to settle in, explore and feel the coastline properly. If you want shorter, browse all kayaking options.

Why choose the Howick full day?
This trip gives you the thing shorter sessions cannot: time. Time to settle into the kayak, time to coach properly, time to travel along the coastline and time to enjoy the small moments that make sea kayaking so memorable.
It is a day for people who want the coastline to unfold gradually, with space for scenery, wildlife, skills and proper journey atmosphere. If you want kayaking that feels more like an adventure than an activity slot, this is the one.
