These Terms & Conditions apply to standard public and online bookings made with Adventure Northumberland Ltd.

2. Bookings & payment
- Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
- Payment confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- All prices are as stated at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations
How to cancel: Email hello@adventurenorthumberland.co.uk with your booking reference.
More than 14 days before your activity
If you cancel more than 14 days before your activity, we will issue a gift voucher to the full value of your booking.
Gift vouchers are valid for a minimum of 12 months and can be used on any Adventure Northumberland activity.
Within 14 days of your activity
No refund, voucher or reschedule will be given.
No-shows or failure to attend
No refund, voucher or reschedule will be offered.
4. Conditions-led activities
All activities are conditions-led. We assess sea state, swell, wind and weather continuously.
If we decide conditions are not suitable to run safely, we will offer:
- A reschedule, or
- A suitable alternative, or
- A refund if neither is possible
The decision to run, modify or cancel an activity rests solely with Adventure Northumberland.
5. Minimum numbers
Some sessions require a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not met, we may:
- Move your booking
- Offer an alternative
- Provide a full refund
6. Participation & safety
- Participants must follow all instructions from guides.
- Unsafe behaviour may result in removal without refund.
- Participants must be able to swim and be fit to take part.
7. Health & medical
- Relevant medical conditions must be disclosed.
- Participants are responsible for their own medication.
8. Equipment
- Equipment must be used correctly.
- Loss or damage through negligence may be charged.
9. Late arrival
Activities run to schedule. Late arrival may result in exclusion. No refund will be given.
10. Risk
Outdoor activities carry inherent risks including water movement, weather, terrain and remoteness. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.
11. Liability
- We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Personal property
Participants are responsible for their own belongings.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
