Do I need any experience?
No experience is required for most activities. See our What to Expect page for how we tailor adventures to your ability and confidence.

Most activities are suitable for ages 12 and over. The only exception is our Classic Coasteering experience, which is open to children aged 8 and up. All our activities are covered by our AALA licence.

Kayaking & Coasteering: swimsuit for under your wetsuit, towel, food and drink for afterwards, and sturdy footwear with laces and closed toes (trainers ideal).
Pilgrim’s Crossing: best done barefoot on the tidal flats; bring a small towel and a bag to carry your shoes.
Navigation & Hill Skills (Ingram Valley): a rucksack, clothing and footwear suitable for a full day in the hills, food, drink and spare layers (maps and navigation tools provided).
Micro Adventures & Rock Climbing: we’ll send a detailed kit list; generally outdoor clothing for a full day, sturdy boots or trainers, food and water; camping kit provided if required for overnights. See What to Expect for more detail.
