Booking & payments

Tickets, private groups, changes
?How do I book?
Book online via the booking calendar on the activity page you want. Choose a date, then select either an Open Group place or a Private Group option (your group only).
?What’s the difference between Open Group and Private Group?
  • Open Group: you book places and may join other guests on the session.
  • Private Group: your group only (no mixed bookings) with your own guide allocation.
?Can larger groups book more than one Private Group?
Yes. Larger groups can book multiple private-group options (subject to guide availability).
?Can I change my booking?
If you need to change date or session time, contact us as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to move you (subject to availability and our terms).

Weather & cancellations

Conditions-led decisions
?Will you cancel for bad weather?
Sometimes, yes. We run a safety-first, conditions-led approach. Sea state, wind, visibility and swell can all affect whether a session is suitable.
?When will you decide?
We aim to make an early call where possible, but coastal conditions can change quickly. If conditions are borderline, we may wait for updated forecasts and/or a visual check before confirming.
?What happens to my money if it’s cancelled for bad weather?
If we cancel due to conditions, we’ll offer options in this order:
  • Reschedule to another suitable date/time, or
  • Swap to another activity if appropriate and available, or
  • Refund if we can’t accommodate changes (as per our terms and conditions).
?Does rain cancel sessions?
Not usually. Rain alone is rarely an issue — it’s typically wind, swell and sea conditions that drive cancellations.

What to bring & what’s included

Clothing, footwear, essentials
?What do I need to bring?
Bring:
  • Trainers you don’t mind getting wet (best for grip and comfort)
  • Swimwear to wear under your wetsuit
  • Towel and warm clothes for afterwards
  • Any personal medication you may need
?What do you provide?
We provide wetsuits and the technical safety kit required for the session (activity dependent). Your guide will run a clear safety briefing and coach you throughout.
?Can I wear water shoes?
No. Please wear trainers you don’t mind getting wet.

Arrival, facilities & logistics

Parking, changing, timing
?How early should we arrive?
Please don’t arrive too early. Lunchtime changeover can get hectic. Arriving around 5 minutes before your session time is sufficient.
?Do you have changing rooms and showers?
Yes. We have communal male and communal female changing rooms and hot showers on site. On busy days, we may ask guests to leave bags in their cars to keep spaces clear.

We’re the only local provider offering proper changing rooms and hot showers at base.

?What about car keys?
If you prefer, keys can be left with staff, however we do not accept responsibility for them.
?Is there parking?
Yes — we have on-site parking at our Craster base (where available). Please follow the arrival notes above and aim for a calm check-in.

Safety & licensing

AALA, SOPs, reassurance
?What is AALA and why does it matter?
AALA stands for the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority. For clients, it means our organisation is assessed against required standards for delivering certain adventure activities to young people and groups. It’s independent oversight of safety systems, staff competence, operating procedures and risk management — not just “we say we’re safe”.
?Can I view your AALA licence and safety procedures?
Yes. Our AALA licence and SOPs are available to read here:
Safety documents (AALA & SOPs) →
?Is it safe?
Outdoor activities have inherent risk, but we manage that risk with experienced guides, appropriate kit, clear briefings and conditions-led decisions. We tailor each session to the group and the day.
?Do you do safety briefings?
Yes — every session starts with a clear, friendly briefing and ongoing coaching. We want people to feel confident, not overwhelmed.

Photos & media

GoPro & galleries
?Can I bring my phone / GoPro?
You can, but we recommend leaving valuables behind so you can enjoy the session. Our guides will capture the day on a GoPro and we supply these online after the session.
?Where can I see photos from previous years?
Our albums from previous years are available on:
