Kayak Coasteering - Craster

Kayak Coasteering is a unique and exhilarating combination of sea-level traversing, jumping from rocks, climbing out of gullies, and kayaking. Sure to be lots of fun.

We start our journey in the harbour at Craster, using sit-on kayaks we travel the short distance to Adventure Gulley, here we beach the boats and have some fun climbing rock faces, and jumping from the rocks, we will also, should conditions allow try our hand at a little surfing in the kayaks as we explore some of the reefs.

We will try to take pictures (but is not always possible) on the trip and post them on our Facebook Page. Click Here to visit our Facebook page.

Equipment

We supply your wetsuits and all safety equipment.

You will need to bring socks and shoes, shoes with laces and closed toes, please. Not neoprene wetsuit type slip-on, they wash off and are too thin-soled. Training shoes are ideal. You will also need a swimsuit for under your wetsuit and a towel to dry off afterward. It is also worth bringing a snack and something to drink for when you come out of the water. If you have any questions, please contact us at activities@adventurenorthumberland.co.uk

Weather

All activities at sea are weather dependent and your safety is paramount. Should conditions stop us from running this particular activity we will automatically move you to our classic coasteering activity which has a higher tolerance weather wise.

Should conditions prevent us from running an activity at all, we will offer an alternate date, failing which you are entitled to a full refund.

We will let you know in advance if we think the session will not go ahead.
