Pre-Activity Information

So your adventure is booked and you might be wondering what happens now? What do I need to bring? Where do I need to go?

On this page you will find information about where to go and what to bring on our daily activities.

Meeting Points:

River Coquet Kayak Trips Location is The Stanners, Warkworth Leave the A1068 (Bridge Street) onto a little section of one-way road (Dial Place) in the centre of the village. Dial Place carriers on left and becomes The Stanners, you will reach the river and a river bank with parking bays. The nearest Post Code is NE65 0UT.

Sea Kayaking - On the beach at Sugar Sands, Low Steads, Longhoughton. The post code NE66 3AL will take you to Low Steads Farm, go through the Farm yard, remebering to close the gates and at the beach go to the car park to the right.

Coasteering - We meet in the public car park beside Seahouses Farm. We meet in the public car park, please do not go to the Farm. For a link to Google Maps Click Here

Surfing - We will contact you direct with information on where to meet, it will be one of several local beaches, depending on surf conditions. Bamburgh, Beadnell, Embleton or Sugar Sands.
However directions to each location can be founnd by clicking on the relevant locations. This will open a page in Google Maps.

Rock Climbing - Location is Corby Crag on the B6341 near Lemington Bank Top – Click Here to view in Google Maps. Please note there is no Post Code for this location.

Equipment Lists:

For water based activities - you will need to bring clothing for under your wetsuit including socks, as well as shoes that will get wet, and a towel. We also recommend a drink and some food for afterwards.

For activities on land - you will need clothing thats is suitable for the prevailing weather conditions, including Sun Block. Footwear is important and training shoes or walking shoes are most appropriate. We also recommend a drink and some food.

Participation Agreement

On arrival your leader will ask you to complete a participation agreement. To speed the process along, you can print the form yourself and complete. To download the, Consent Form CLICK HERE
If there are children under the age of 18 taking part, this form must be completed by a parent or guardian. If you're joining us as a group each group member must fill out this form individually.

Parental or Guardian Consent Form

To be completed for each child under the age of 18 who will NOT accompanied on the activity by a parent or guardian. Please download our Consent Form CLICK HERE. This is required for all children when attending without a parent or their legal guardian. Please make sure you have a printed-out copy of this ready to give to us prior to your activity. If you do not have access to a printer please let us know beforehand and we can bring a paper copy to fill out when you arrive.

If you are booked on a Charity event or a Holiday, we will send you specific information on where to meet and what you need to bring.
